Used Wordle.net for the tag then used a Spellbinder die cut to get the scallop edge
Most of the charms I used came from e-bay..the large metal ribbon is a Michaels find and the smaller metal ribbons are from Hobby Lobby
Used a Cuttle bug folder to emboss the large pink ribbon that I cut with my e-Craft die cut machine!
I am really loving the swaps on the various crafting websites...I am now doing a charm swap over on the Shack and loving it...I love bling and the theme for this swap was diamond and pearls(faux of course)...a girls best friends! So decided I to do pink and white pearls and crystal for my diamonds...Most of my supplies came from Hobby Lobby and the sliver charms came from my Good buddy TerryO....she just nice like that!
I recently joined a website named the Stampin' Dymonz Scrap Shack....everyone calls it the Shack....there is a wonderful Groups of gifted and talented Crafters over there! One very talented Crafter Lia of Scrapsation recently made a dress form pin cushion and it so cute...She was so sweet to shared here template for the dress form......several of the ladies over on the Shack have made them and I just had to try my hand at making one too!...since I sew it did not take me long at all! I really had a great time making this...so I decided that I would make few for Christmas this year and give them as presents..Yay......... here is my take on the dress form...details to follow later!
Yesterday I was invited to a fellow crafter's house and boy was I in for treat! Thank you! Lia of A Piece of My Scraps who is such a talented crafter ...... Talk about an awesome Crafting room it was truly inspiring! She has the ideal set-up in her craft room...... there are pictures on her blog! Not only is her craft room really nice she is sooo talented and a real sweetheart! You can also see some of Lia's many crafting creations on her blog! Check it out at the above link.... I was in such awe of her scrap room and everything was so neatly stored I came home and started cleaning up my Crafting space! We shared ideas and talked about all types of crafts... like where the best places are to go shopping and get how to get great bargains...from setting up your craft room to even where to get some really good bargains on fruit! It was simply the best! But not only did I hang out with Ms. Lia...... I also got a chance to hang out with one of my favorite crafters that I have finally had the pleasure to meet about a week ago! She is another awesome and talented crafter......Ms. Terry of Tellen's Place Designs she has great digi designs for sale(will be coloring one soon)....they are so cute! Wow she is a wonderful person! She gave me some really great pointers on how to use Copic markers! I really love the techniques Terry uses.... Here what I was able to come up with! Don't forget to visit these wonderful Crafter's blog you will be pleasantly surprised!!!!! Happy Crafting Everyone| The glossy accent was not completely dry |
Distressed and embossed with a Sizzix embossing plate
You can't really tell from the picture but these have a feel of old leather to them!
I did the distressing first then and once it dried I stamped it a a clear butterfly stamp...then sprayed it with some glimmer mist
Again here I distressed and let it dry and then added the stamped flower...by Martha Stewart (Love her stamp sets)
This is one of my favorites with the same process as above!
